Innkeepers Billy and Fran Stevens, along with dear
friends, arrived in Fayetteville during Antique Week in
Sept., 2006. The guys planned to golf and, of course,
the gals went shoppin', shoppin', shoppin'. After
spending many leisure-filled hours in the Fayetteville
area, Billy and Fran fell in love with the beauty of the
area and warmth of the townspeople. Three months
later, they signed papers to close on their "major
fixer-upper" and proceeded to restore the house to its
former glory. 1897 Guest House was completed in
October, 2007.
